The Lake Martin Community Hospital Laboratory serves outpatients, ER  and hospital patients 24 hours a day and seven days a week. The services provided by LMCH laboratory include: blood bank, coagulation, chemistry, hematology, immunology, microbiology, and urinalysis. The laboratory has a new chemistry analyzer with an expanded test menu. They offer reference lab testing and will soon have a new hematology analyzer (in early 2024).

There is a new PCR department coming soon! PCR (polymerase chain reaction) tests are a fast, highly accurate way to diagnose certain infectious diseases and genetic changes.

Lake Martin Community Hospital Laboratory offers a blood drive every 8 weeks held by LifeSouth Community Blood Center.
