Campbell, MD

Dr. Campbell spent 28 years in the US Army serving his country in many ways. Initially he was Airborne Infantry and a Helicopter Pilot before going to UNECOM on a military scholarship. After graduation he continued in the Army and did his residency training in Aerospace Medicine and Occupational/Environmental Medicine as well as getting his Master of Public Health degree. In the Army he served as a Master Flight Surgeon serving different units as a Battalion Flight Surgeon (to include a combat tour to Iraq), The Dean of US Army School of Aviation Medicine and the Command Surgeon for the US Army Combat readiness/Safety Center. Upon retirement from the Army, Dr. Campbell continued serving the Army as the Medical advisor and primary physician for the Army’s elite training course Survival Evasion Resistance and Escape (SERE). During this time he was also able to teach OMT to student from the AT Still’s SOMA campus, in Troy, AL. Dr. Campbell is an Assistant professor of SOMA and Adjunct faculty member of the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine (ACOM). Dr. Campbell is currently living in Enterprise since 2002, one of those Dam-Yankees that came South!! Go Red Sox and Patriots!! He is happily married to his high school sweet heart Tish (Hadfield) and they have 4 children and a new granddaughter!
