RN- Emergency Department: Full-time 6on/8off, day shift 6am – 6pm
Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
- Graduate of an approved registered nurse program.
- Currently licensed as RN by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
- Familiar with equipment, tools, and work aids used in the delivery of patient care on a designated unit.
- Current CPR/BLS Certification
- Appropriate certification and documentation of special training in special care areas.
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE
- Possess knowledge of the nursing process, including skills for the assigned area of duty.
- Proficient in the administration of IV therapy.

- Adheres to policy, i.e. , work schedule, on call-in policy, dress code, conduct, and reporting to work on time.
- Establishes and maintains good working relationships with patients, visitors, personnel, medical staff and other departments.
- Ability to provide patient-centered care and maintain a safe environment
- Ability to make knowledgeable clinical assessments and judgments
