Duties include processing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, managing payroll, and ensuring that all transactions comply with healthcare regulations like HIPAA.

Key Responsibilities

Billing & Insurance: Track and process patient bills, insurance reimbursements, and Medicare/Medicaid claims to ensure accuracy.

  • Reconciliation: Reconcile ledgers, balance accounts, and resolve payment or reimbursement discrepancies with insurers and patients.
  • Reporting: Prepare financial statements and reports for management, tax purposes, and regulatory agencies.
  • Compliance: Ensure all financial practices and data management adhere to strict healthcare policies.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
  • Experience: Prior experience in bookkeeping, ideally within a hospital or clinical setting, is preferred.
  • .Skills: Proficiency in specialized medical billing and accounting software, Microsoft Office, and strong attention to detail

Salary – 40,00 to 60,000 based on experience
