Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled X-ray Technician to join our medical imaging team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans. As an integral part of our team, you will contribute to patient care by providing high-quality images that assist in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.
Responsibilities
- Perform X-ray examinations and other diagnostic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians.
- Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively while adhering to established protocols.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of imaging procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Assist in the maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques.
- Adhere to safety standards and protocols, including radiation safety measures.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Certification as an X-ray Technician (ARRT or equivalent).
- Experience in diagnostic radiology is preferred; familiarity with CT is preferred but willing to train.
- Knowledge of physiology and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
