Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support and guidance to individuals and families facing various challenges. This role requires a deep understanding of social services, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and other professionals. The Social Worker will play a crucial role in assessing client needs, developing treatment plans, and advocating for resources to improve their well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments to determine clients’ needs and develop appropriate intervention strategies.
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing techniques such as psychotherapy and behavioral therapy.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, educators, and community organizations to coordinate care for clients.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
  • Advocate for clients’ rights and access to necessary services, including special education resources.
  • Support families in navigating challenges related to child family counseling or working with individuals with disabilities.
  • Offer guidance on issues related to geriatrics and inpatient care as needed.
  • Stay informed about current trends in social work practices and medical terminology.

Skills

  • Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of medical records management.
  • Experience in behavioral therapy techniques and child family counseling practices.
  • Knowledge of special education systems and resources available for children with disabilities.
  • Familiarity with geriatric care principles and best practices for working with elderly populations.

Requirements

Bachelors Degree – Required

Licensed – Preferred

1 Year Social Work experience in a healthcare setting.
