Where do I get a copy of my images and/or the results of my exam?

To receive a copy of your images or your results, report to Medical Records M-F 7:30am-4:00pm where you will have to sign a release. You will then receive a CD with your images for an $8.00 charge per copy.

Is there a preferable type of dress to get a radiographic exam?

Yes! It is preferred that any patients having any type of radiographic exam have no jewelry and wear loose clothing free of buttons, zippers and/or any metal.

I have a pacemaker. What exams am I not a candidate for?

If you have a pacemaker it is safe to have most radiographic exams excluding MRI. MRI uses a controlled magnetic field which makes it unsafe for patients with a pacemaker. However, X-ray, CT, Ultrasound, DEXA and Fluoroscopic exams are pacemaker safe.

Who reads my exam?

A highly qualified group of radiologists from Montgomery Radiology Associates dictates all radiographic exams don eat GMC through our PACS system providing speedy results for our patients.

Is there any special type of preparation for a radiographic exam?

For some, yes. If you have any questions about a scheduled exam you can reach a technologist 24/7 to direct any concerns or be informed of any possible preparation.
